2) The adjustment height of daily charging, fixing tool and machine is around 1000mm, so there is no need to climb the height, and the operation is safe and convenient.However, the difference between smaller size models and vertical models is not obvious (models smaller than 24INCH);

3) Most horizontal machines adopt detachable steel guide rails for easy maintenance.There is no need to climb for maintenance (the total height of the machine generally does not exceed 1700mm);

4) Convenient transportation, easy installation and adjustment.

1) It covers a large area (only models with specifications above 24 INCH, the bigger the model is, the more obvious), which is not conducive to the selection of users with limited space.

2) When you arrange automatic line, the span is large.But if put the machine end of the line process, there is no such concern.

2) When the line is connected, the span is relatively short, which can reduce the transmission cycle time.

1) Overall rigidity and processing capacity of shock absorption is not as good as horizontal machines.Based on these two conditions, the processing capacity is generally a little lower than the horizontal model with the same specifications;

2) The daily adjustment of loading, tool and machine is not as convenient, safe and fast as the horizontal machine (the bigger the machine is, the more obvious it is) due to the operation height exceeding the comfortable height (the need for climbing);

3) Large models are relatively difficult to transport and install (the bigger the machine, the more obvious)

1) The machine adopts the cylinder drive, because there is no mechanical friction such as ball screw, the drive part has a long life, rarely need to maintain;

2) Due to the good overload performance of the hydraulic drive, it is easy to realize the overload when the machined parts are large or under some conditions.

3) When the hydraulic design is reasonable, the alternating force of the rolling teeth, especially when the large modulus is formed, has incomparable driving stability.

4)Due to the characteristics of oil pressure deceleration, in some cases, it is beneficial to reduce the loss of the rubbing die;

5) Relative economy.

1) Due to the need of oil, usually need more than 600L oil pressure station, so that the machine covers an increased area;

2) Inevitably there is a small amount of leakage and the oil pressure station produces about 60 decibels of noise;

3) Inevitably there is the problem of oil temperature rise, the general oil circuit can not be programmed.

1) There is no oil station as the driving source, the surrounding environment of the equipment is clean and the floor space is reduced.

2) General working noise no more than 40 decibels, basically no environmental pollution;

3) The proper velocity curve can be obtained by programming during the tooth rubbing process.

4) Servo drive can save energy when the machine is not working (but because the rubbing machine belongs to high frequency output machine, except for long standby time this advantage is not obvious).

1) On the model without synchronous rack and pinion, the synchronous precision depends on the friction of ball screw, which is more easy to wear and fail.

2) Due to the characteristics of the presetting capacity of the gear rolling machine, in some cases caused by the phenomenon of the clamping machine, as the hydraulic press can be out of trouble without damage;

3) It is difficult to provide continuous overload capacity when parts have large modulus, large number of teeth, long spline and high hardness.

4) The cost of replacing parts is high.
